I’ve been loving this filling, savory-sweet smoothie combo. I adapted from Blaire of Balance with B and must say I can’t get enough. It keeps me full for hours because it’s mindfully balanced with fiber, fat, and protein.

Make it:
1/2 roasted then cooled Japanese yam
1 tsp maca
1 tbsp cacao
1 tbsp almond butter (could sub any nut butter)
2 tbsp ground flax seed
1.5 cup nut milk
optional add-ins for sweetness: dates, banana, maple syrup
blend – pour – enjoy!
